Step 2 - Now that you have a fully charged, PurToke brand battery in your hand (if don't please click here) please make sure it is turned off (if you don't know how to turn your battery on and off, click here).
Step 3 - Carefully inspect the battery contact and threads (see figure 1). If you see anything in this area please click here for battery cleaning instructions.
Step 4 - So your battery is turned off and clean. Now we can move our attention to your cartridge. Please inspect the contact area and threads of your cartridge (see figure 1); and air holes (see figure 2) of your cartridge. If you see anything on either, please clean them using a toothpick and/or cotton swab with a very small amount of rubbing alcohol. If there is rust or another hard substance, you can use a small piece of fine sandpaper to clean the area as well. WARNING - do not use any metal or other conductive material.
Step 5 - Now that you have a fully charged battery and a fully cleaned cartridge, please attach your cartridge to your battery (click here if you need instructions on attaching your cartridge).
Step 6 - With your cartridge correctly attached to your battery, draw through the cartridge mouthpiece.
If you are able to notice air being drawn through the mouthpiece, please turn your battery on and see if you can vape.
If air is still not coming through the mouthpiece, turn on the battery, then press and hold the battery button until it starts blinking (if you notice smoke coming out between the cartridge and the battery, let go of the button) then draw strongly through the cartridge mouthpiece (sometimes a fairly strong pull is needed to clear the system). Repeat this process three times. If after doing this cycle three times, you still have not been able to get air to draw through the mouthpiece, please turn off your battery and store your cartridge upside down at room temperature for a few hours. Then go back to step 4, inspect the battery and the cartridge again and clean the air holes one more time, then proceed through to step 6. If after having completed this process twice, you still are unable to draw air through the mouthpiece and you have purchased your cartridge within the last 7 days click here.
